SMC Corporate Finance acted as exclusive sell-side advisor to the owners of Innov Group on the sale to Infra Group.
Innov Group is a leading Swiss provider of integrated services in the telecommunications and energy infrastructure sector. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Western Switzerland, the company employs around 50 people. Through its operating entities, the Group specializes in the planning, construction, and maintenance of fibre-optic networks, civil engineering services, and solutions for electrical distribution networks.
With its strong position in the expansion of fibre-optic and energy infrastructure, Innov Group addresses key drivers of Europe’s infrastructure transformation, particularly nationwide FTTx roll-out and the modernization of power grids.
Infra Group is a pan-European infrastructure platform backed, among others, by PAI Partners, ICG, and Andera Partners. Infra Group designs, builds, and maintains underground and overhead network infrastructure for essential utilities and employs more than 5,000 people across several European countries, including Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Denmark, and Luxembourg. With this acquisition, Infra Group strengthens its geographical footprint and establishes a platform in the Swiss market.
The transaction provides Innov Group with access to a pan-European infrastructure organization with scalable structures, operational expertise, and financial strength to realize further growth in the dynamic infrastructure market.
