Sebastian Achleitner is an Associate at SMC Corporate Finance GmbH. His focus is on providing support and advisory services to owner-managed and family-run businesses in M&A transactions on both the buy and sell side, as well as in selected financing matters.

Before joining SMC Corporate Finance, Sebastian worked as an Associate at IMAP M&A Consultants AG in Munich. There, he supported national and cross-border M&A processes for private mid-cap companies, particularly in the technology, industrial, automotive, and healthcare sectors.

Prior to that, Sebastian worked as a Senior Associate in the Financial Services Audit division at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In this role, he led audit workstreams for asset managers and private equity funds and gained in‑depth experience in analyzing complex financial structures and regulatory requirements.

Sebastian Achleitner has more than seven years of combined professional experience in Corporate Finance/M&A and Financial Services Audit. He holds a Master in International Economics from the University of Innsbruck and has successfully passed the CFA Level I exam.
